The Role
This is a hands-on, diverse role requiring a go-getter who can manage day-to-day operations of the hire division (PSG Plant & Equipment Hire) and oversee stock and inventory management for SRB Steel & Hardware Supplies. You will be instrumental in driving business growth through creative problem-solving, practical decision-making, and strong relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities

Lead hire operations including bookings, scheduling, and customer service with efficiency and accuracy

Manage inventory, stock control, and ordering for SRB Steel & Hardware Supplies

Coordinate equipment deliveries, returns, and maintenance schedules

Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the hire division

Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with customers and suppliers

Support marketing initiatives and stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity

Think outside the box and provide practical, effective solutions to operational and growth challenges

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, able to manage competing priorities

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

Experience in operations and inventory management, preferably in hire, steel, or hardware industries

Business development or sales experience is highly desirable
