In this key administrative role, you will support the smooth operation of the school by managing accurate and timely payroll services across teaching, support, and cocurricular staff. As the Senior Payroll Officer, you will take ownership of end-to-end payroll processes while ensuring compliance, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Key responsibilities include:

Process fortnightly payroll using the school’s payroll and ESS software

Prepare and manage PAYG, superannuation, salary packaging, and other disbursements

Implement EB salary increases, step increments, and back payments

Maintain accurate payroll records and update HRIS for staff changes

Reconcile payroll transactions and prepare fortnightly wage journals
