A Full Time position for General Nursing duties in the General Practice setting.

Primary roles include arrangement of Health assessments, Care plans, vaccine clinics, wound care, occasional primary patient assessment, monitoring of vaccines, assistance with basic surgeries, cleaning and sterilisation of surgical equipment, limited basic cleaning duties, management of disposable clinical stock.

The practice nurse performs a pivotal role in patient care in supported communication with the practice doctor.

Previous experience in the GP setting would be an advantage .

Good communication skills and a calm approach to sometimes challenging work loads are essential.
