Civilwise is seeking an experienced Site Engineer / Project Engineer to join our civil construction team on various sites around the Hunter Valley and Hawkesbury regions. The projects include a range of earthworks, pavement, concrete, stormwater and utility infrastructure.

Although Civilwise is headquartered in Sydney, our base of operations is regional NSW, predominately in the Hawkesbury / Hunter regions and the Northern Rivers region of NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily site operations for the earthworks and pavements package

Manage QA processes, ITPs, and technical documentation

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams

Monitor safety, quality, and progress to meet project milestones

Provide technical engineering support to ensure compliance with specifications

Key Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Previous experience on Ausgrid, Local Government or TFNSW projects is an advantage

Demonstrated experience in any earthworks projects including excavation, grading, and site preparation

Proven experience in any pavement work including construction, maintenance, and quality control

Proven ability to manage QA and site coordination

Available to start immediately

Australian Driving Licence

Minimum 1-2 years of civil engineering experience required

Valid Australian work rights required
