We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to plan, design, organise, and oversee the construction and operation of civil engineering projects.

The position requires applying civil engineering principles, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and safety, and managing on-site activities from inception to completion.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Plan and Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and supervise day-to-day site activities in compliance with safety and regulations.

Quality Control: Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Prepare budget and reports: Monitor progress, manage budgets, and prepare cost reports in timely manner.

You are required to:

Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction methods.

Oversee materials, plant, equipment, and workforce allocation.

Conduct site investigations and assess geotechnical conditions.

Manage design changes, evaluate cost impacts, negotiate variations and resolve on-site technical challenges.

Analyse structural systems for static and dynamic loads and verify structural safety and durability.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.

To be a successful candidate you must have:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or higher in related field

· At least 3 years’ work experience in managing civil construction projects

· Strong understanding of engineering principles, geotechnical analysis, and structural design.
