Technical Sales Engineer - Piping
$140-160K + Super

The Company
Our client is a market leader worldwide specialising in piping solutions. They have been in business over 100 years and have recently broken into the Australian market as they navigate unprecedented growth.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with clients & customers to gain a thorough understanding of customer needs and develop and provide perceptive and expert solutions to their requirements.
• Maintain and service existing relationships with customers & ensure clear lines of communication between all departments internally in order to meet the customer’s requirements.
• Ensure customer expectations are managed and met at all times.
• Provide engineering consulting support to the sales team, this includes investigating field installations as to product usage and performance.
• Conduct training sessions with new employees to educate them on the features of new products.

Your Background/Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an applications role with a focus on HVAC system design/mining/fire protection.
• Solid experience in engineering teams within an NPD environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of being able to build and maintain external customer relationships.
• Extensive experience in understanding customised solutions and the ability to engage with customers providing knowledgeable solutions to their requirements.
