Who are we?

IDEAcademy is ahead of the cultural and institutional curve for addressing the needs of society's next generation. We unshackle our world’s most important thinkers so they can get on with making it better. IDEA is an academy for young innovators, entrepreneurs, and creatives. We offer a full-time vocational alternative to secondary education for young people from the age of 15 years. At IDEA we support students to make a seamless transition to life beyond compulsory education with a portfolio of contemporary credentials that showcase each student's niche talents and potential. IDEA's fully immersive real-world program is delivered out of our co-learning hubs in the Perth and Fremantle CBDs.

The vocational credentials embedded within IDEA’s program are delivered through our Registered Training Organisation Nua Learn (RTO Code: 46284). Through IDEA and NUA Learn, we envision a future where education goes beyond traditional institutional delivery settings and inspires young minds to be creators, critical thinkers, and problem solvers. We believe that by integrating design thinking, project-based learning, and entrepreneurial mindsets into a vocational education, we can unleash the untapped potential of young learners and prepare them to thrive in their careers and lives.
