About the role

Peter Pan Preschool is a community non for profit preschool. We are seeking a Diploma-qualified early childhood educator to join our team on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent part time position. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children in our vibrant preschool in Mangerton, NSW. As a Diploma educator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging educational programs that promote the growth and development of our students.

What you'll be doing

Plan and implement a high-quality early childhood education program that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework

Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and play

Observe and document children's progress, and use this information to tailor educational activities

Build positive relationships with children, families and the broader preschool community

Participate in staff meetings, professional development and other team activities

Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations and policies

What we're looking for

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)

Minimum 2 years' experience as an early childhood educator

Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices

Ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to providing high-quality care and education

Commitment to child safety and child safe standards

Current First Aid certificate, Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
