We're looking for a dedicated Outside School Hours Educator to join our team and contribute to a high-quality, inclusive, and engaging program that supports children’s wellbeing, learning and development.

About the Role

As an Outside School Hours Educator, you will play a key role in planning, implementing and evaluating a fun and educational curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children aged 5–12. You will ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, Child Protection Law and internal policies and procedures, while also building strong relationships with families and the community.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver inclusive, engaging and play-based programs.

Maintain compliance with National Quality Framework, Child Protection Law and Work Health and Safety standards.

Supervise and support children to ensure their safety, wellbeing and learning outcomes.

Collaborate with families and team members to foster a holistic and culturally responsive environment.

Support continuous improvement through documentation, evaluation and reflective practice.

Step into leadership roles as required, including Responsible Person, Second in Charge, or Educational Leader.

Essential Criteria

Diploma in Children’s Services or approved equivalent qualification.

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.

A valid Working with Children Check and willingness to undergo a National Police Check.

Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Child Protection Law.

Experience in designing and delivering educational programs in early years or OSHC settings (preferably with 5–12 year olds).

Ability to guide, support and mentor fellow educators.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
