Job Summary

Highly skilled and proactive Test Manager to lead the testing efforts for a strategic transformation project involving the migration of a legacy Java-based application to a modern microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in test automation, system testing, and UAT coordination, with hands-on experience using Selenium, GEB, and Java within Azure DevOps environments.

Job Detail

1. Test Automation Leadership: Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using Selenium, GEB, and Java to ensure high-quality delivery across microservices.
2. System Test Strategy: Define and implement comprehensive system testing strategies tailored to microservices architecture, ensuring coverage of integration, performance, and end-to-end workflows.
3. Regression Strategy: Establish and manage regression testing processes to ensure stability and reliability of legacy and modernized components.
4. Azure DevOps Integration: Leverage Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline integration, test execution, and reporting, ensuring seamless automation across environments.
5. UAT Coordination: Collaborate with business stakeholders to plan, execute, and support User Acceptance Testing, ensuring alignment with business requirements and readiness for production.
6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with developers, architects, and business analysts to align testing efforts with development cycles and project milestones.
7. Quality Advocacy: Champion quality assurance best practices and continuous improvement across the testing lifecycle.

Role

1. Proven experience as a Test Manager in enterprise-level software projects.
2. Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium, GEB, Java, and test automation frameworks.
3. Strong knowledge in Insurance domain, specifically Lenders Mortgage Insurance. Knowledge in Mortgage Origination Platforms and Underwriting Platforms.
4. Expertise in Test Strategy, Test Planning and Test Management.
5. Strong problem solving skills and analytical skills.
6. Solid understanding of microservices architecture and legacy system integration.
7. Experience with Azure DevOps for test management and CI/CD.
8. Proficiency in JIRA for test planning, defect tracking, and agile project management.
9. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
10. Ability to define and execute test strategies across multiple phases of software delivery.
11. Ability to manage medium to large Testing teams, and manage stakehodlers.

Skills and Experience

1. Test Automation: Proficient in developing and maintaining automated test suites using Selenium with Java, and GEB with Groovy for UI testing. Experienced in API automation using Postman.
2. CI/CD & DevOps: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline integration, automated test execution, and release management.
3. Test Management & Strategy: Expertise in test planning, test strategy development, regression planning, and resource allocation to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
4. Agile & SAFe Practices: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SAFe-certified, with a proven track record of delivering in fast-paced, iterative environments.
5. Collaboration & Documentation: Skilled in using JIRA for test and defect tracking, and Confluence for comprehensive test documentation and knowledge sharing.
6. Problem Solving: Adept at identifying risks, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement in testing processes and team performance.
