Full-time Position

$33 per hour + Super

37 hours p/wk | 5 days p/wk

Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 9am-5:30pm

Saturday: 11am - 4pm

(Friday and Sunday off)

What you can expect to be doing day-to-day:

Customer Experience: Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every customer and ensure their visit to the showroom feels both enjoyable and worthwhile. Most interactions will be face-to-face in the showroom, with some enquiries by phone or email. You’ll take the time to engage with customers, listen carefully to their needs, and guide them through our range of products. By building genuine trust, asking the right questions, and explaining how our furniture suits their needs, you’ll help customers feel confident and excited about their purchase decisions.

Order Processing: Handle the end-to-end process of customer orders, including checking stock availability, processing transactions, and ensuring all order details are recorded accurately.

Showroom Merchandising & Presentation: Work with the team to style and curate furniture displays that highlight how pieces work together. Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting showroom that inspires customers and makes it easy to explore.

Growth Opportunities: At Marc & Main, we're seeking talented individuals to nurture and promote within our ranks. For those who demonstrate skill and dedication, there are opportunities for advancement into management roles.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST HAVE

Experience in either retail, hospitality, sales or customer service (experience selling furniture, homewares, or other industry-related products is great but not essential)

A people's person, with a positive attitude - this matters more than experience!

Genuine interest in furniture or interiors

Must be able to work Saturdays 11am-4pm

Have unrestricted working rights in Australia and availability for long-term employment
