We’re looking for a motivated Retail & Nursery All-Rounder who’s ready to commit to a full-time role that combines customer service, sales support, and hands-on outdoor work. What You’ll Be Doing

This is a diverse role with plenty of variety, including:

🪴 Nursery & Yard Work

Helping maintain nursery grounds – mowing, whipper-snipping, weeding and tidying

Assisting with irrigation checks and general maintenance

Supporting stock movements and ensuring trees are well cared for

Keeping work areas organised, clean, and safe

🌱 Retail & Customer Service

Greeting and assisting retail customers in a professional and welcoming manner

Answering enquiries in person and over the phone.

Providing product knowledge and guidance to help customers select the right trees

Building positive customer relationships and representing the Ellenby values

What We’re Looking For

An energetic and enthusiastic individual seeking a full-time, long-term role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Previous customer service or retail experience (horticulture or landscaping an advantage)

Computer literacy – comfortable with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.)

Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do physical outdoor work

A proactive team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

Current driver’s licence and reliable transport (essential)

Horticulture knowledge or qualifications (desirable, but not essential – training provided)

Hours & Location

Full-time, Monday to Friday 7am–3pm

Alternate Saturdays required (8:30am–3pm) on rotation

Based at our Gnangara Display Nursery (occasional off-site events)
