About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Aussie Early Learning in Bibra Lake, WA. This part-time role will involve providing essential support to our childcare professionals, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children in our care.

What you'll be doing

Assisting childcare staff with daily activities and routines, such as supervising children during play, meals, and rest times

Helping to prepare and organise engaging learning materials and resources

Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised learning environment

Providing personalised attention and support to individual children as needed

Collaborating with the childcare team to contribute to the overall development and wellbeing of the children

Adhering to all childcare policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

Prior experience working in a childcare and supporting children with complex needs, demonstrating an understanding of child development and best practices

A genuine passion for supporting the growth and learning of young children

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively

A positive, patient, and nurturing attitude

A valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
