About the Role

Cherished Cherubs is seeking Casual Childcare & Family Support Workers to join our professional care team across the Perth metro and Peel regions.

In this role, you'll provide compassionate, high-trust care for children in private homes, hotels, events, and community settings. From in-home babysitting to supervised family contact, your care helps children feel safe, supported, and calm — even in challenging circumstances.

We partner with private families, corporate clients, and government agencies, where confidentiality, professionalism, and reliability is essential.

What You'll Be Doing

Supervising and caring for children aged 0–12

Supporting personal care, routines, and structured activities

Ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for every child

Escorting children to and from care via private vehicle

Supervising family contact visits as a neutral third party

Following strict policies around confidentiality, neutrality, and safety

Communicating clearly with our office team and clients

Documenting notes where required (contact visits, incidents, etc.)

Managing your time and schedule responsibly with full support from our team

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for calm, capable women with a genuine heart for children and families. You'll be supporting clients who may be experiencing stress, trauma, or transition — so empathy and professionalism are a must.

Essential Criteria:

Experience in childcare, education, youth work, or related fields

Valid Working With Children Check (WA)

National Police Clearance (recent or willing to obtain)

First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)

Reliable vehicle and full driver's licence

Availability for shifts between 7am–10pm (2–5 hours in length)

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women are strongly encouraged to apply.
