About the role

This role provides customer-focused administrative, procurement, financial, and contract management support to the Contracts team within Networks and Infrastructure. Working closely with the Team Lead Contracts Administration, the position assists in the administration of project-related contracts, including coding, invoicing, logistics, and the preparation of correspondence using established templates and standards. The role also monitors contract progress, timelines, and values, while supporting the preparation of purchase order and contract variations.

In addition, the position supports financial processes by tracking expenditure against budgets, processing payments, and managing requirements such as Project Bank Accounts and Bank Guarantees. It also contributes to project delivery by providing contract administration and project officer support, while coordinating contractor performance evaluations and preparing reports for the Procurement Branch. With a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration, this role plays a vital part in ensuring effective contract and project outcomes across the division.

About You!

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Strong experience in contract administration, procurement, and financial practices within the State Public Sector.

Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.

Good organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing demands, meet deadlines, and drive improvements.

Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.

There is one permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start.

This is a pool recruitment process where suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months.
