As the firm continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager / Client Manager to join their collaborative and down-to-earth team.

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of clients including private companies, trusts, SMSFs, family groups, and high-net-worth individuals

Review and supervise the preparation of tax returns, financial statements, BAS, IAS, and FBT by junior team members

Provide expert tax advisory services including tax planning, business restructuring, Div 7A, GST, and income tax consolidation

Build and maintain strong client relationships as a key point of contact

Run internal training sessions on topics such as PSI, FBT, GST, and other emerging issues

Contribute to improving internal processes and mentoring junior staff

About you:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Australian public practice firm

CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)

Strong technical skills across compliance and advisory

Experience reviewing work and managing junior staff

Excellent communication skills and a proactive client service approach
