Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is Australia’s largest rural water corporation responsible for storing, managing and delivering water across most of northern Victoria. GMW provides more than 39,000 services to about 25,000 customers in its operating region.
About the Role
Based out of her head office in Casey Street, Tatura. We are seeking a detail oriented and collaborative individual to assist the Asset Planning Coordinator in reviewing and updating Operation and Maintenance Manuals for our dams and associated infrastructure. This role also supports the documentation and standardisation of workplace practices to ensure consistency and compliance across our operations.
What You'll Do:
Support the review and update of operational and maintenance documentation for major water assets
Assist in capturing and standardising workplace practices
Liaise with internal staff and external agency personnel to gather and clarify information
What we’re Looking For:
Mandatory Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and the broader Microsoft Office suite for documentation tasks.
A current Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel to regional sites.
Desired Attributes:
Understanding of the operation and maintenance of major dams and related structures.
Experience with asset information management systems.
