About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated International Compliance and Payments Officer to contribute to impactful outcomes in the International Partnerships department. You’ll play a key role in delivering strategic and operational services aligned with Melbourne Polytechnic’s values.
This role supports the effectivedelivery of international student compliance and financial services. You will work closely with students, education agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth enrolment, payment, and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level customer service to international students and education agents
Manage enrolment variations including deferrals, extensions, withdrawals, and refunds
Negotiate and manage tuition payment plans and extensions
Process financial transactions including payments, invoices, and refunds
Maintain accurate records in PRISMS and student management systems
Prepare official documentation including offer letters and confirmations of enrolment
Coordinate services such as airport pickup, accommodation, and health insurance
Ensure compliance with ESOS Act and National Code standards
Support continuous improvement and contribute to team success
Skills and Experience Required
Relevant degree or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of the international education sector and compliance frameworks
Excellent communication skills across diverse cultural backgrounds
Proven ability to manage complex administrative tasks with accuracy
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience with financial systems and student management platforms
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
A National Police Check
