About The Role

The Administration Officer provides excellent specialist customer service to all staff within The Orange Door ensuring the smooth, timely and efficient operations of administrative tasks, data entry and performance of various other tasks associated with the requirements of the service. The position supports all Orange Door Practitioners by inputting accurate information into the client record management systems in a timely manner. The role requires an experienced and highly motivated individual who can effectively engage, liaise, and negotiate competing demands and achieve deliverables within timelines while working in a multi-disciplinary team. The position reports to Screening Intake and Triage Team Leader at the Orange Door.

About You

With a minimum qualification of an advanced certificate, diploma, associate diploma, or related equivalent qualification. You will hold a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role including reception and office administration or significant student placement experience.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Your application must address the following:

Essential Skills and Knowledge

Commitment to the vision, philosophy, and objectives of SAFV Centre and The Orange Door and an;

• Understanding of the nature, scope, and impact of domestic and family violence on adults and children - desirable
• Demonstrated experience in administration and data entry.
• Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with service users, colleagues, and other service providers.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite of products, along with experience in electronic databases.
• Problem solving skills using knowledge, judgment and work organisational skills acquired through qualifications and/or previous work experience.

  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement and cultural equity in service delivery.
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.

Referees

Applicants must provide the name and current contact details of 2-3 professional referees including the most recent or current supervisor.

Period of Appointment

Full time, 12 month fixed term contract position.

Salary and Conditions

Annual salary is $81,927 plus superannuation (pro rata for part time). Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills.

Industrial Instrument: The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre Enterprise Agreement 2023.

Salary Packaging: Provided via Maxxia. PBI status with other expenses available to package above this cap. The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre is a Public Benevolent Institution.

Superannuation: The employer will also make superannuation payments on your behalf in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992.

Probationary Period – 6 months with a review conducted during this time.
