Safety and Compliance Coordinator - Aviation & Maritime Services

About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Safety and Compliance Coordinator to join our Aviation & Maritime Services team at Brisbane Airport. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting operational compliance, health and safety, and customer service excellence across our airport operations.
Working closely with the Contract Manager and Operations team, you'll ensure our processes meet regulatory, contractual, and internal standards while building strong partnerships with clients, contractors, and staff.

What You'll Do

• Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements on site
• Maintain compliance processes aligned with Trident's Integrated Management System (IMS) and client contracts
• Develop and maintain safety documents, policies, and procedures
• Investigate and report on WHS incidents to identify risks and implement corrective actions
• Monitor contractor and service provider compliance with HSEQ standards
• Prepare accurate and timely reports for internal and client needs
• Assist with audits, assurance plans, and consultation meetings
• Build strong relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a safety, compliance, or similar coordination role
• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (essential)
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
• Understanding of aviation or cleaning industry operations, and/or tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or Quality (Desirable)
