The Role
Leads and manages the Land Use Planning Branch
Participates in strategic and operational planning to shape and implement the Departments objectives
Proactively identifies internal and external threats and opportunities, and takes steps to shape strategies, regulation and government decisions to ensure the Branch's strategic objectives are achieved.
Negotiates and collaborates with other government agencies and industry to support the delivery of State land use objectivesCommunicating with internal and external stakeholders
Represents the Department in inter-departmental meetings, working groups, committees and at public forums.
Provides high-level advice to the Department and the Minister for Mines on land use policy and approvals
