The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Bookkeeper / Finance Officer to join our growing team. As a part of the corporate services team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our financial operations in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role that offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing and reconciliation.

Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

Reconcile customer and supplier invoices in Xero and job management systems.

Support the preparation of BAS, PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and other ATO requirements.

Assist with month-end and year-end reporting, including financial statements and compliance requirements.

Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, cash flow, and purchase orders.

Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and project financial tracking, including cost analysis and progress claims.

Provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

Certificate-level qualification in Bookkeeping or Accounting.

Proven experience in accounts receivable, payable, payroll, and financial administration.

Proficiency in Xero and other accounting/job management systems.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.

Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

Clear and confident communication skills for working with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
