The Role

The role works within our Dynamic team based in Cairns QLD to develop our CRM tool and also manage and implement integration with our financial services software.

Responsibilities

Design and develop solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem, including custom plugins, workflows, forms, and business rules.

Customize and configure D365 modules to meet business needs and processes.

Work closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective, scalable solutions.

Develop and maintain integrations between D365 and other systems using Azure services, Power Platform, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 tools.

Support SharePoint-based document management and collaboration solutions tied to D365 workflows.

Utilize Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps for solution integration, automation, and deployment.

Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and solution architecture discussions.

Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs in a timely manner.

Maintain technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and configurations.

Stay up to date with D365, SharePoint, and Azure product updates, features, and Microsoft best practices.

Ensure system stability, security, and performance.

Skills and Experience

5+ years of experience developing within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.

Strong understanding of D365 modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service).

Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, including integration with Dynamics 365, workflows, and document libraries.

Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, and Azure AD.

Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate) and the Common Data Service (Dataverse).

Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript.

Ability to understand and analyze complex business requirements and deliver technically sound, maintainable solutions.

Familiarity with D365 security models, workflows, and data model architecture.

Experience with DevOps practices, and version control using Azure DevOps or similar.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Microsoft Certifications are a plus.
