Support Workers – Specialist Disability Accommodation

Location: Peel Region, WA – Multiple Sites | NDIS Clients

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Support Workers to join our team across two Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) houses. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with diverse support needs.

About the Role

Day shifts: Up to 10 hours

Night/sleepover shifts: Reliability is essential to help reduce client anxiety caused by changes in staff

Support ratio: 2:1 personal care provided twice daily

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality personal care and daily living support

Assist with meal preparation and ensure meals align with individual meal management plans

Assistance with household duties to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment

Support clients to attend appointments and participate in meaningful daily activities

Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families

About You:

Essential:

Reliable, consistent, and committed to person-centred support

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Must be a strong Team Player

Current Driver’s Licence and WA-registered vehicle with third-party/comprehensive property insurance

NDIS Worker Orientation certificate (on application)

NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Primary course of COVID vaccine (at least 1 dose)

Desirable:

Previous experience in disability support or personal care

Experience working with challenging behaviours

Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent (or working towards)

Current First Aid and CPR certification
