As Australia's largest independent trailer builder, Vawdrey aims to consistently improve the standard of design and quality within the country's trailer building industry.

We are currently recruiting for experienced and enthusiastic Welders/ Vehicle Body Builders to work at our workshop in Larapinta, QLD.

Primary responsibilities include

Maintaining and repairing semi trailers and rigid truck bodies, including but not limited to: doors, roof sheets, roof rails etc.

Ability to weld steel 1.6mm – 16mm ( MIG) and alloy 2 – 6mm ( MIG)

Ability to perform curtain welding and basic auto electrical job

Be able to conduct chassis alignment.

Be able to read and interpret job cards, record works carried out in detailed job logs within strict timelines.

To be successful in this role, you will have

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience in a smash repairs workshop

Forklift and/or Heavy vehicle licence ( HC licence) desirable

Basic painting skills highly desirable

Technical Trade qualification is desirable
