The Role - ANZ Logistics Operations Coordinator

The role will encompass:

Facilitate third party agreements and operations with service providers and suppliers

Coordinate communication for inbound containers between customs brokers and cold stores and update internal systems for communication to stakeholders

Communication with internal replenishment teams and personnel at third party distribution centres regarding trends and requirements affecting operation capacity

Support and involvement in transport agreements and operations in all distribution channels.

Optimise available technology sources and adapt to internal systems to enhance the visibility of network operations, including the facilitation of EDI implementation, upgrades and changes with third party logistics and customers.

Acknowledge and understand the principles of food compliance, sustainability and ethical standards, adopting these principles into operational requirements and agreements with service providers.

Support the traceability requirements of products and materials and maintain a database for identifying non-compliant sources.

Build and develop strong customer and supplier engagement;

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in a supply chain position, especially with goods with limited life on shelf;

Certified education in supply chain, logistics or related field.

Highly developed analytical thinking, understanding and application to overcome problems and produce practical solutions;

Detailed understanding of logistics in a geographically diverse environment;

Demonstrated understanding of technology required to achieve optimal results;

Outstanding verbal and non-verbal communication skills for domestic and international colleagues
