Your New Role
As a Family Lawyer, you will be an essential member of our legal team, entrusted with the responsibility of handling a wide range of family law cases. You will have the opportunity to advocate for clients during emotional and sensitive times, guiding them through complex legal processes with empathy and expertise.

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

• Manage your own files across parenting, property, divorce, child support, and domestic violence matters
• Draft high-quality legal documents including affidavits, applications, consent orders and financial agreements
• Represent clients in court, mediation and negotiation settings
• Provide strategic, compassionate advice to clients navigating sensitive matters
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
• Contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture

About You
You’re a passionate family lawyer who takes pride in delivering exceptional service while treating clients with empathy and respect. You enjoy managing your own files and contributing to a genuinely collaborative workplace.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Minimum 2-3 years PAE in family law (QLD or interstate)
• Strong understanding of the Family Law Act, court rules, and procedures
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• High attention to detail and strong drafting ability
• A proactive, organised approach to file management
• Emotional intelligence and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism
