Employment Term: Part-time 22.8 hours per fortnight on a Maximum Term Contract to 31 March 2026
Location: Based at Bundaberg with occasional travel to Hervey Bay
Remuneration: $100k + Super + NFP salary packaging of up to $15,900 and $2,650 for meals and entertainment

Your part in our UnitingCare's team
We are currently seeking to appoint a Family Advisor to work as part of our UnitingCare Family Law Services team based in Bundaberg.
Working in our Family Relationships Centre, Bundaberg, the Family Advisor position supports Individuals and Families at-risk of entering into the Family Court system by providing Intake, screening and assessment, and case management in preparation for Family Dispute Resolution.
This role also emphasises Child Inclusive Practice in Family Dispute Resolution and the facilitation of warm referrals to internal, Family Law Services programs, other Uniting Care programs, and external supports for Families.
What makes a difference for us?
Possession of a Degree in Social Sciences, Human Services or Law from a recognised tertiary institution
Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card)
Experience and understanding of strengths-based assessment and case management processes
Demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation particularly in relation to family law, child protection and domestic and family violence, family dispute resolution trends, practices and intervention processes.
Current QLD Drivers Licence
