About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a well-regarded not-for-profit organisation based just north of Melbourne's CBD, currently seeking a permanent Injury Management Advisor to join their dynamic People & Culture team.
This is a newly internalised function where you’ll play a key role in embedding best-practice injury management processes and driving early intervention strategies. You'll work closely with injured employees, people leaders, health practitioners, and insurers across a national footprint, ensuring timely and supportive return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for injury and claims management across the organisation.
• Provide expert guidance and support to leaders and injured employees.
• Develop tailored RTW plans and liaise with insurers, rehab providers, and internal teams.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal Workers Compensation legislation.
• Provide regular reports and data insights to the WHS Advisor and broader P&C team.
• Support early intervention initiatives and build capability across the organisation.
• Attend conciliations and external meetings where required.

About You

• Experienced in Workers Compensation and Return to Work coordination.
• Solid knowledge of relevant Workers Compensation legislation across multiple states.
• Ability to manage complex cases with empathy and professionalism.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working in a medium to large organisation, ideally in the community or NFP sectors.
• Allied Health, WHS or HR qualifications.
• Experience supporting mental health or disability-focused teams.
• Knowledge of national injury management approaches and systems.
