Your new role:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead the operational and clinical management of patient transport services across Metro South Health. In this role, you will:

• Oversee MSH Patient Transport operations, including Non-Urgent Non-Ambulance (NuNa) services, inter-hospital transfers, and RaFT system management.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and specialist advice to ensure safe, timely, and patient-centred transport.
• Manage resources, budgets, and data reporting to optimise service efficiency and compliance with quality standards.
• Lead workforce development, mentoring, and professional learning within the Patient Transport team.

About you:

You are a highly skilled nurse leader with advanced expertise in patient transport and flow management. You will also:

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of patient flow strategies, transport logistics, and healthcare systems.
• Exhibit strong leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and research in patient transport.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and person-centred care across teams.
