Your new role:

We are seeking a committed and experienced surgical registrar or principal house officer to provide high-quality clinical care to surgical patients at Bayside Health Service.

• Deliver high-level, supervised clinical care in inpatient and outpatient surgical settings, including regular ward rounds and procedural care.
• Participate in on-call and night shift rosters, ensuring safe and effective clinical handover and escalation of care when required.
• Contribute to medical education by supervising and mentoring junior staff and students, and leading training sessions or tutorials where appropriate.

About you:

You are a clinically capable and compassionate medical officer with a strong interest in surgical care. You demonstrate professionalism, leadership, and a collaborative mindset while maintaining high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.

• Minimum 3 years of registrar-level experience in a surgical setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead junior staff.
• Committed to continuous professional development, with a sound understanding of hospital protocols.
