What you'll do

  • Build, document and implement technical solutions within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks.
  • Provision of sound advice and recommendations regarding technical specialisations and their application.
  • Utilise appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures.
  • Support the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation planning of IM/ICT changes, including the evaluation of risks to the integrity of specific infrastructure components in proposed implementations.
  • Actively participate in a team of specialist technical resources in the delivery of complex technical solutions.
  • Perform administrative functions and other duties as directed by the supervisor.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

  • Extensive experience and ability to deliver high quality ICT services to clients of eHealth Queensland, with emphasis on managing workloads, priorities and working unsupervised (NHS: drive for results).
  • Demonstrated ability and technical skills in the following -
    - Virtualisation technologies (VMware)
    - Microsoft Windows Server 2019, 2022, 2025
    - Server Hardware (Dell)
    - ITSM – ITIL
  • The optional requirements for this role:
    - Citrix CVAD Applications & Desktops
    - Service Now
    - Microsoft Active Directory Services, DNS, DHCP
    - Scripting Languages
  • High level oral and written communication skills to enable effective interaction in individual and group situations and the ability to maintain relevant system documentation and produce technical reports/documents for management (NHS: effective and strategic influencing, collaborative working).
  • A demonstrated high level of technical expertise in the management, configuration, monitoring and design of medium to large enterprise ICT environments with the proven ability and technical skills to support ICT services to meet agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • Demonstrated experience or the ability to quickly learn Service Now and ITIL Service Management processes (primarily incident / problem / change / configuration management).
