The Opportunity

At Test & Tag Training, we’re a Recognised Training Organisation (RTO) delivering nationally accredited courses for the testing and tagging of Portable Electrical Appliances, aligned with Australian/New Zealand Standards 3760 & 3012. Our training is based on UEERL0003 – Conduct in-service safety testing of electrical cord assemblies and cord-connected equipment.

We’re looking for a Perth-based trainer to join our expert team and deliver engaging one-day and half-day courses, both face-to-face and online. With plans for growth in 2025 and beyond, this is your chance to grow with an industry leader and help shape the future of vocational training.

Where You’ll Be Based
Your home base will be our fully equipped training facility in Balcatta, but you’ll also have the opportunity to deliver training at various venues across Perth, including customer sites. This role offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to connect with learners in real-world environments.

What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who’s not just qualified, but driven, curious, and people focused. You’ll thrive here if you:

Hold a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116)

Well-versed in electrical concepts and strong willingness to learn more

Communicate with clarity, warmth, and confidence

Ask great questions and seek to truly understand your learners

Bring a strong work ethic, respect for others, and integrity to everything you do

Know how to break down technical concepts for learners of all levels

Are open to feedback, and willing to follow instructions and best practices shared by our experienced trainers
