The Opportunity
This newly created role sits at the intersection of service excellence and people leadership. You will oversee all aspects of service delivery across the organisation, while ensuring that the internal culture, capability, and structure are aligned to support sustainable performance. You’ll work closely with clients, internal teams, and fellow executives to deliver results, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the design and execution of service delivery strategies that meet client expectations and business objectives.
· Manage and mentor internal delivery teams, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accountability.
· Champion a caring, positive, inclusive workplace culture where people feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow.
· Oversee operational processes, systems, and workflows to improve efficiency and service quality.
· Act as a senior point of contact for major clients, ensuring transparency, responsiveness, and trusted relationships.
· Collaborate with other executive leaders on strategic planning, risk management, and business growth.
· Align workforce planning and team capability with organisational needs and delivery goals.

About You
You are a capable, caring, and commercially astute leader who brings out the best in people and processes. You can navigate complexity while keeping both clients and teams at the centre of your decisions. You’re proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering excellence without losing sight of the human side of leadership. The ideal candidate will have:
· Significant senior leadership experience in service delivery, account management, operations, and client services
· Demonstrated experience leading people and building high performing, values-aligned teams
· Strong relationship-building and communication skills, internally and externally
· Proven commercial acumen and a track record of delivering operational excellence, with a with a focus on sustainable growth and empowering your teams to thrive
· Experience in complex, client-focused environments (government, health, professional services, or similar)
· Detailed understanding of the Australian workplace legal system
· Advanced financial literacy for business
· Confident and influential communication skills, with a strong presence and proven ability to represent the company at a national level at external events
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
8+ years of experience in growing key accounts
Demonstrated track record and success, developing new business in enterprise-sized businesses
A track record in growing existing client accounts
A track record of building high performing teams
We are open to candidates with differing life situations ranging from mid-career, executive team members through to those who have exited another business
Bachelor’s degree or above
Based in Melbourne
Willing to travel interstate

As a newly created role, there will be transition plan into full day-to-day responsibilities for the new CDPO. The CEO and the executive leaders will remain active in providing hands-on leadership until you reach operational maturity.
