About the Role
In this important leadership role, you’ll report directly to the Head of Care and Quality and lead a team of Care Team Leaders. You’ll guide and support them to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred services for our Members. Your voice and actions will help shape a positive, engaged team culture while contributing to the growth and strategic direction of our care and support services.
The core responsibilities of the role include:
Lead and support Care Teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred services aligned with organisational standards.
Oversee the safe, effective, and meaningful care in your teams, ensuring they exceed Aged Care and NDIS requirements.
Manage escalated incidents and complaints.
Provide expert guidance on complex care issues to drive measurable outcomes.
Champion quality, safety, and continuous improvement through governance and policy, and work collaboratively with colleagues to drive needed change.
Manage team resourcing and workload to support workforce sustainability.
Mentor Team Leaders to enhance engagement, satisfaction, and development in our people.
Partner with your Head of Department and the People Team to forecast and plan workforce needs.
Contribute to strategic initiatives and tech enhancements for better Member and Helper experiences.
Lead accreditation and certification readiness.
Monitor and achieve performance goals, balancing growth, stability, and sustainability.
Do you have what it takes?
Tertiary qualification in a health-related field (e.g. nursing, allied health, social work).
Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams delivering safe, high-quality care and support.
Demonstrated innovation in care delivery with measurable consumer outcomes.
Senior experience in Commonwealth-funded aged care and NDIS community supports.
Track record of driving innovation, efficiency, and growth in privately funded services.
Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards, with experience aligning team activities to policy and process.
Skilled in service development, strategic planning, and creative problem-solving.
Adaptable leader committed to leveraging technology in a dynamic care environment.
High-level customer service and person-centred care focus.
Passionate about improving outcomes for Members, their families, and colleagues.
Full working rights in Australia and NDIS Worker Screening clearance (or willingness to obtain).
