Do you want to upskill and support the infection prevention and control (IPC) activities undertaken with a mental health focus?

This is for Permanent Full Time and Permanent Part Time appointments for up to 1.5 FTE.

Please note this position is a day duties position, Monday to Friday. Free parking is available, and flexibility will be provided in relation to workdays and hours.

What does an IPC Clinical Nurse do?

As part of the Infection Prevention and Control team, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for the provision of quality evidence-based advice regarding Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) matters within the Directorate. This position also undertakes assessments , audits and provides strategies to continually improve the clinical environments. They act as a role model, supporting the development of other staff and themselves. Read more about the role in the attached Job Description Form.

Eligibility to Apply and for Employment

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
