We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting management with day-to-day accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities -
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expenses.
Post journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner. - Manage accounts receivable collections and vendor payments.
Prepare financial reports including cash flow summaries, balance sheets, and income statements.
Skills & Experience -
Proficiency in MYOB accounting software is essential (applications without MYOB experience will not be considered).
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, or in a similar role. - Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations. - Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
High level of attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills. - Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
