About Us

Peluso Group is a construction business specialising in insurance and private projects across Melbourne. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to take ownership of our accounts and ensure our financial processes run smoothly.

You’ll be joining a supportive team and working closely with our Operations Manager and Accounts Assistant.

The Role

As our Bookkeeper, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the business, including:

Managing accounts payable and receivable (with support from our assistant)

Preparing and issuing invoices and progress claims

Running payroll, superannuation, and STP reporting

Preparing and lodging BAS and IAS

Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate records in Xero

Supporting end-of-month processes and financial reporting

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Has at least 2+ years’ bookkeeping experience (construction industry background highly regarded)

Is confident using Xero

Has strong knowledge of payroll, BAS, and compliance requirements

Is detail-oriented and able to work independently

Has great communication and time management skills
