We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and hardworking Proficient Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing team. A role that can be tailored to suit you and your capacity on a full-time/part-time basis.

About the role

As a Proficent Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner you play a critical role in supporting our clients by:

Having experience working within the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.

Developing and implementing individual designed behaviour support plans within specific timeframes.

Planning, delivering and evaluating behaviour support and training plans relating to participant's needs.

Traveling to clients for assessments and ongoing interventions throughout metro Adelaide.

Completing accurate documentation.

Collaborating with multiple services providers and other team members.

Building capacity of parents/carers skills and those of other important people in your clients life, such as support workers and mentors, to support your clients and improve their quality of life.

Linking clients in with community services to support their development and build confidence to meet their needs and improve quality of life outcomes.

About You

To be part of the team at I Can Jump Puddles it is expected that all team members bring with them passion for their craft, enthusiasm, professionalism, and care. This includes:

A commitment to I Can Jump Puddles values and purpose.

Registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission PBS Capability Framework at the level of Proficient.

Must provide a copy of you NDISQSC Proficent suitability outcome letter.

Current registration with relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA for Psychology, AASW for Social Work)

Current Working With Children Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening.

Valid driver's license and roadworthy vehicle.

High degree of autonomy and flexibility in how you allocate your time in this role.

High level written and verbal communication skills.

Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology,Developmental or related field

Minimum 3 years' experience providing behaviour support intervention in partnership with clients and their support providers and networks

Experience providing clinical supervision or mentoring of developing behaviour support practitioners and assessing quality of PBSPs.

Experience conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments and developing comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans

Ability to liaise regularly with our Leadership and hard-working teams of allied health professionals, support coordinators and PBS practitioners.
