The Role

As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner at CareCo, you will:

Deliver high-quality PBS services, including Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs), interim plans, and comprehensive behaviour support plans.

Implement strategies that promote choice, control, and dignity of risk for participants.

Work collaboratively with participants, families, and support networks to ensure practical implementation of plans.

Provide training and coaching to support workers, SIL staff, and families to embed consistent practice.

Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements, including restrictive practice reporting.

Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and participant documentation in line with NDIS Practice Standards.

Contribute to CareCo’s culture of continuous improvement and best practice.

About You

You are passionate about creating meaningful outcomes for people with disability and bring a neuro-affirming, rights-based approach to your practice.

You will have:

A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Developmental Education, Counselling, Social Work, Speech Pathology, or a related discipline.

NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner Registration (Core, Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist).

Experience in completing FBAs and developing behaviour support plans.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Current driver’s licence and vehicle.

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, DHS Working with Children Check, and National Police Clearance.
