Job Description:
Insurance Repairs Estimator specialising in Business-As-Usual (BAU) and Event claims, responsible for assessing 6-8 claims daily, with a balanced schedule of 3 days on the road and 2 days in the office. role is crucial in providing accurate estimates, ensuring adherence to SLAs, and demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Claims Assessment:
2. Independently assess and estimate insurance repairs for BAU and Event claims.
3. Conduct on-site inspections to gather accurate information and evaluate damages.
4. Accurately estimate the damages
5. Liaise with stakeholders and specialised trade to take accurate decisions on the claim
6. Day to Day:
7. Manage a workload of 6-8 claims per day, maintaining a balance between on-site assessments and office-based tasks.
8. Prioritise and organise tasks efficiently to meet daily targets.
9. Detail-Oriented Approach:
10. Demonstrate a keen eye for details during claims assessments to ensure accuracy in estimating damages.
11. Thoroughly document findings and ensure all relevant information is captured.
12. SLA Driven:
13. Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to meet or exceed customer expectations.
14. Manage timelines effectively to ensure timely completion of assessments and reports.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in insurance repairs estimation, with a focus on both BAU and Event claims.
• Trades & or insurance background
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a high daily workload.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering accurate estimates.
• Familiarity with insurance industry practices and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in both field and office settings.
