About the Role
As the Data Entry & Analytics Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our data systems, conducting quality assurance, and generating insights through reports and visualisations.
Your work will help DVAC monitor compliance, identify trends, and improve service effectiveness across the organisation. This position is casual, providing flexibility and the chance to develop your data skills within a meaningful community services environment.

Key Responsibilities
Accurately enter and validate data into various organisational systems
Maintain data quality and perform routine database maintenance
Generate reports and visualisations to support organisational insights
Analyse data trends and support basic statistical interpretations
Maintain dashboards and assist with ad-hoc analytics requests
Participate in team meetings and contribute to organisational planning
Ensure compliance with data governance and confidentiality requirements
About You
You’re tech-savvy, dependable, and take pride in accurate, high-quality work. Whether you’re a student with data analysis coursework or someone with admin experience and a love of spreadsheets, you’re someone who thrives on structure and clarity.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Qualifications (or working towards) in Business, IT, Data Analytics or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel – including pivot tables, formulas, and charts
Experience working with datasets and business systems (CRM, BI tools, etc.)
Strong data entry and typing skills with excellent accuracy
Basic understanding of statistics or data interpretation
Experience with Power BI or similar visualisation tools (desirable)
Strong time management and the ability to work independently
High levels of discretion and confidentiality in handling data
A current Driver’s Licence and Blue Card
