Our Client:

Client is one of Australia's leading suppliers of construction materials and building products, with a strong presence across Queensland. They operate more than 200 batching plants nationwide, producing high-quality premixed concrete that supports some of the country's biggest infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects.

The role:

As a Concrete Batcher, your responsibilities will include:

• Operate and monitor the batching plant to produce concrete to required specifications.
• Oversee daily plant operations, including raw material management and equipment checks.
• Lead and coordinate the activities of other plant staff (e.g., agitator drivers, yard hands).
• Ensure all loads are batched accurately and delivered on time to meet customer requirements.
• Plant safety, quality, and environmental compliance standards.
• Conduct troubleshooting and minor maintenance on plant equipment.
• Manage stock levels of raw materials and liaise with suppliers and logistics.
• Complete required production and compliance documentation.
• Act as the key point of contact for customers, drivers, and internal stakeholders

Selection Criteria:

• Valid Construction White Card.
• Strong knowledge of CONCRETE BATCHING PROCESSES.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
• Valid Front-end loader ticket.
• Able to pass a Truck Safe Medical, including Drug & Alcohol testing.
• Own transport-depot is not accessible via public transport
