Internal Sales – Challenge Pumps
Challenge Pumps is a recognised leader in mine dewatering solutions, supporting underground mining operations across Australia and internationally. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Kewdale.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position plays a key role in our workshop and sales support operations. You will be responsible for accurately interpreting and processing parts requirements, preparing quotes and dispatch documentation, and providing high-level support to both internal and external stakeholders.
This is a hands-on, full-time role offering 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for incoming parts and sales enquiries
Interpret customer requirements and provide accurate parts support
Prepare sales quotations, purchase orders, and dispatch documentation
Assist with basic hydraulic modelling using Excel
Ensure compliance with export documentation and shipping procedures
Enter and maintain data within our ERP system with a high degree of accuracy
Collaborate with internal and external sales teams to ensure prompt service delivery
Liaise with the finance team to support client contract terms and conditions
Identify issues related to products or processes and contribute to ongoing improvements
What You Will Bring
Experience in a similar role within the mining, industrial, or mechanical sectors
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Sound understanding of parts sales and supply chain operations
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems (advantageous)
Willingness to learn internal systems and technical product knowledge
Current Australian driver’s licence
