About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated Sales Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll guide customers through their purchase journey, from understanding their needs and providing expert product knowledge, to sourcing stock and finalising the sale with confidence and care.

You’ll also play an important part in maintaining a welcoming, well-presented showroom by updating displays, rotating and ticketing stock, and ensuring the store is always easy to shop.

While sales will be your primary focus, the ability to take on warehouse tasks, such as stock movement, furniture setup, order prep, or deliveries will be highly regarded. A can- do, willing-to-learn attitude is essential, and training will be provided if you have no prior warehouse task management experience.

What we are looking for

Minimum 2 to 3 years’ sales experience, ideally in furniture and bedding

Confident negotiator with the ability to close deals and achieve targets

Intuitive and adaptable, able to read customer cues and respond effectively

Approachable, engaging, and quick to build rapport

Positive team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering standout customer experiences

Must be flexible and reliable, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Proactive thinker who brings fresh sales ideas to the table

Strong can-do attitude, open to learning and following direction with positivity

Friendly, patient and approachable, you are a known as a cooperative team player. You thrive in harmonious environments where you can work closely with others to build and maintain positive relationships.

With a great eye for detail, you ensure all aspects of the sale are handled quickly, correctly and efficiently. You are quick to absorb new information and you work consistently to achieve your goals.
