ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Aboriginal Case Manager – Women’s Domestic & Family Violence to join our dedicated team in Casino. In this full-time, fixed-term role (until June 2026), you’ll provide vital support to women and families experiencing domestic and family violence. Your work will empower individuals to rebuild their lives in safety and dignity, making a meaningful difference every day.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’re an experienced Case Manager with a strong background in supporting women affected by domestic and family violence. You bring a trauma-informed approach, empathy, and excellent problem-solving skills. You thrive in collaborative environments and work effectively with other service providers to deliver wraparound support tailored to each client’s needs.

Criteria:

  • This position has been identified to be filled by a female under the Anti- Discrimination Act 1977 exception #48 section 31.
  • This position is an identified Aboriginal position and therefore Aboriginality is a requirement of the job as well as cultural association with one or more of the local Aboriginal communities.
  • Qualification in a social science or related field and/or specialised skills sufficient to perform at this level.
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
  • Current Working with Children Check (NSW).
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
  • Casework experience in an associated field.
  • Understanding and experience of working with Aboriginal people and their communities.
  • Demonstrated experience in case planning and coordination of people with complex support needs.
