We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our venue.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar & floor, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and managing inventory and supplies.

Train and manage bartenders and other front-of-house staff.

Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction by greeting customers, addressing complaints and concerns, and making sure that staff are attentive and responsive to customer needs.

Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the bar and food service, increase sales, including creating drink specials, hosting events, and utilising social media and other advertising platforms.

Monitor and manage the venue's financial performance, including tracking expenses and revenue, analysing sales data, and making adjustments as necessary to ensure profitability.

Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations regarding RSA, also including checking IDs and enforcing responsible serving practices.

Maintain a safe and clean environment for customers and staff, including enforcing health and safety protocols and performing regular maintenance and cleaning tasks.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Duty Manager or similar role, with a track record of successfully managing staff and driving sales growth.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, customers, and vendors.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and mixology, with the ability to create innovative and unique drink offerings.

Familiarity with local and state regulations regarding the sale of alcohol.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
