What You'll Do

• Keep large plant & heavy equipment in prime condition with preventative maintenance
• Diagnose & repair diesel engine, hydraulic, and mechanical faults
• Carry out detailed inspections & diagnostics
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to keep production running smoothly
• Maintain clear, accurate handover and service reports
• Spot issues early and offer effective solutions
• Always work to the highest safety standards

What You'll Bring

• Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic / Technician
• Valid Victorian Driver's License
• Hands-on experience with heavy plant & machinery
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with solid problem-solving skills
• Clear communication and a team-first attitude

Bonus if you have:

• Experience in industrial, construction, mining, or plant environments
• Familiarity with safety compliance & preventative maintenance programs
