The Opportunity
We're seeking a highly experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Deer Park. As a crucial member of our fleet maintenance team, you'll ensure our vehicles and equipment perform at their best. This full-time role offers competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and additional benefits.

*Shift – 2pm – 10pm

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers.

Conducting thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.

Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake replacements.

Utilising diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues accurately

Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts, and maintenance schedules

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations

Requirements:

Full Australian working rights essential

Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles on trucks and trailers.

Heavy Vehicle Technician qualification.

Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and technical systems in heavy vehicles.

Experience with Kenworth, Cummins, Isuzu, Yoke & SAF.

Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software.

HC/HR Truck License Highly Regarded

Road Ranger experience.

Forklift ticket is desirable.

Familiarity of Caterpillar desirable

Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
