About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Colourcitycare Staffing in Orange, Cowra, Young, Cootamundra, NSW 2800. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a supportive and fulfilling environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our aged care residents.

What you'll be doing

Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of residents to ensure high standards of clinical outcomes.

Administering medications and delivering comprehensive clinical care in accordance with individual care plans.

Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement strategies that promote optimal resident health and well-being.

Accurately documenting care and updating resident records in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with professional and legal standards.

Promoting a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, their families, and staff.

Adhering to all relevant facility policies, procedures, and regulatory and accreditation standards.

Providing specialised care, including wound management, palliative care, and complex medication regimes.

Coordinating and managing resident admissions and discharges, ensuring continuity of care and appropriate communication.

Supporting end-of-life care with compassion and clinical excellence, aligned with palliative care best practices.

What we're looking for

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

Demonstrated experience in aged care nursing, with a strong commitment to providing person-centred care

Minimum of 1 year aged care nursing experience required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team

Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions

A caring, compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

Proficiency in using electronic documentation systems

Australian work rights are required for this position

Current police check is required
